최민영 현대 [회화]

최민영 작가는 서울대학교 및 동 대학원 서양화과를 졸업했다. 영국 슬레이드 미술학교에서 석사 과정을 마친 후 현재 런던에 머무르며 활동하고 있다. 2023년 중국 베이징 하이브 현대미술센터 (Hive Center for Contemporary Art), 2017년 영국 웨일스 챕터 아트 센터의 아트 인 더 바(Art in the Bar, Chapter Arts Centre), 스페인 올베라의 올베라 현대미술센터(Olvera Contemporary Art Centre)에서 개인전을 개최했고, 2023년 중국 난징 쓰시 미술관(Sixi Museum), 대전시립미술관의 대전창작센터, 2022년 중국 난징 지 미술관(G Museum of Art)에서 열린 단체전에 참여했다. 현재 영국 런던 HSBC 아트컬렉션(HSBC Art Collection), 중국 베이징 엑스 미술관(X Museum) 등에 작품이 소장되었다.

Choi Minyoung is a Seoul National University graduate in Western painting, where she also completed her master’s degree, before going on to earn another master’s at London’s Slade School of Fine Art. She now lives and works in London. Her work has been showcased internationally, with solo exhibitions at venues such as the Hive Center for Contemporary Art in Beijing (2023), Art in the Bar at Chapter Arts Centre in Wales (2017), and the Olvera Contemporary Art Centre in Spain. She has also participated in major group shows, including exhibitions at the Sixi Museum in Nanjing (2023), the Daejeon Museum of Art’s Creation Center in Korea, and the G Museum of Art in Nanjing (2022). Choi’s paintings are held in prominent collections, including the HSBC Art Collection in London and the X Museum in Beijing, affirming her place as an artist whose work resonates across cultures and borders
