진형식(Daniel jin) 작가는 누구나 사진을 찍게 된 이 시대야 말로 사진이라는 장르는 작가의 사유의 주파수가 중요하다는 생각과 함께 2017년 부터 작가로서의 발걸음을 내딛기 시작했다. 전세계 곳곳의 풍경을 그만의 사유의 색상으로 담아 소개해온 그는 사진이라는 장르에서 회화적 물성을 도입하고, 나아가 풍경을 그의 시선으로 재단하는 과정을 통해 그의 사유를 시각화 하여 제시하고 있다. 이러한 일련의 사유의 색을 풍경에 입히는 과정을 통해 간과하기 쉬운 매 순간의 소중함을 부각시킴으로서 삶의 변곡점 마다 매일 매일의 아름다움을 전달할 수 있기를 고대한다.
