사진작가 이현준은 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 사진가로, 도시의 건축적 경관과 그 안에서 만들어지는 풍경을 오랫동안 관찰하고 기록해왔다. 변화하는 도시와 그 안에 남겨지고 쌓여가는 시간의 흔적, 자연과 인공, 오래된 것과 새로운 것이 중첩되어 만들어내는 장면에 주목한다. 최근에는 서울의 자연 지형 사이로 솟아오른 수직적 건축물을 도시의 새로운 지형으로 바라보며, 주변의 산과 강, 하늘과 맺는 관계를 사진에 담고 있다. 자연과 건축, 안개와 빛이 한 장면 안에서 겹쳐지는 순간을 통해 오늘날 서울의 산수를 기록한다.

Lee Hyunjun is a photographer based in Seoul, where he has long observed and documented the city’s architectural landscapes and the scenes that unfold within them. His work focuses on the traces of time left behind and accumulated within a changing city—moments where nature and artifice, the old and the new, overlap to create a single scene. More recently, he has turned his attention to the vertical structures rising amid Seoul’s natural terrain, viewing them as a new topography of the city and capturing their relationship with the surrounding mountains, rivers, and sky. Through moments where nature and architecture, fog and light, converge within a single frame, he records the sansu (山水) of contemporary Seoul.
