이재순 [국가무형유산] – 석장
이재순 장인은 석장으로서는 우리나라 최초로 2007년 국가 무형유산으로 지정되었다. 스승은 김진영 선생으로, 조선시대 경복궁의 석조물을 조각한 이세욱 선생과 김맹주 선생의 맥을 잇는 석조각계의 대가였다. 이재수 장인은 국보 숭례문을 비롯해 익산 미륵사지 석탑, 원주 법천사지 지광국사탑 등 여러 문화유산을 보수·복원했다. 이런 공로를 인정받아 2023년 문화유산보호 유공자로서 보관문화훈장을 받았다.

Lee Jae-soon [National Intangible Cultural Heritage] – Seokjang
Master Lee Jae-soon became the first stone craftsman in South Korea to be designated as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage holder in 2007. He studied under Master Kim Jin-young, a prominent stone carver who continued the legacy of Master Lee Se-wook and Master Kim Maeng-joo, the artisans behind the stone structures of Gyeongbokgung Palace during the Joseon Dynasty. Master Lee Jae-soon has restored numerous cultural landmarks, including the national treasure Sungnyemun, the Mireuksaji Stone Pagoda in Iksan, and the Jigwangguksa Pagoda in Beopcheonsa Temple, Wonju. In recognition of his contributions, he was awarded the Bogwan Order of Cultural Merit in 2023.
