So Jung-han, the second son of Master So Byung-jin, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage holder in somokjang (woodworking), is continuing his father’s legacy. His work is characterized by a distinctive style, guided by the motto “Ancient Objet (Go-objet),” which signifies creating new works inspired by tradition. So Jung-han’s pieces are known for embodying the three essential elements of a masterpiece: narrative, detail, and humor.
