국가무형유산 소목장 소병진 선생의 차남으로 그 또한 아버지의 명맥을 잇기 위해 같은 길을 걷고 있다. 소목장 이수자 소중한의 작품은 전통을 기반으로 한 새로운 창작물을 의미하는 ‘古;objet (고브제)’를 모토로 삼아 모든 작품에 그만의 아이덴티티가 물씬 묻어 있으며, 그의 작품에는 명작의 3요소(에피소드, 디테일, 유머)를 모두 담아내고 있다.

So Jung-han, the second son of Master So Byung-jin, a National Intangible Cultural Heritage holder in somokjang (traditional woodworking), is continuing his father’s legacy. His work is characterized by a distinctive style, guided by the motto “Ancient Objet (Go-objet),” which signifies creating new works inspired by tradition. So Jung-han’s pieces are known for embodying the three essential elements of a masterpiece: narrative, detail, and humor.
