박수영 금박장 이수자, 국가무형유산

박수영 금박장 이수자는 김기호 국가무형유산 금박장 보유자의 부인이기도 하다. 국립중앙박물관 소장 ‘청연군주 노의’ 재현을 비롯해 ‘영친왕비 하피’, ‘의친왕비 녹원삼’ 재현 작업에 참여했다. 2대 김원순 장인은 ‘명성황후국장도감의궤’에 기록됐고 3대 김경용 장인은 초대 국가무형문화재 금박장 보유자로 인정받았다. 자연스레 집안의 가업을 이었지만, 2022년 공예 후원 사업을 하는 비영리재단 예올과 샤넬이 함께 뽑은 ‘2022년 올해의 장인’ 명단에 이름을 올릴 정도로 활발한 작업 활동을 이어오고 있다.
Park Su-young Certified Trainee in Geumbakjang, National Intangible Cultural Heritage

Park Su-young is a Certified Trainee of Geumbakjang and the wife of Kim Kiho, a holder of National Intangible Cultural Heritage, Geumbakjang (Gold Leaf Imprinting). She has participated in the reproduction of royal garments held by the National Museum of Korea, including Princess Cheongyeon’s Noui, Yeongchin’s Consort’s Hapi, and Uihwa’s Consort’s Nokwonsam. In the family’s gold leaf lineage, second-generation artisan Kim Won-sun is recorded in the Uigwe documenting the state funeral of Empress Myeongseong, while third-generation artisan Kim Kyung-yong was recognized as the first holder of National Intangible Cultural Heritage in Geumbakjang. Although she naturally carried on the family tradition through her marriage, Park has established her own active practice and was named an “Artisan of the Year” in 2022, selected jointly by Yeol, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to supporting traditional crafts, and Chanel.
