박선민 유리공예
순환적 유물 시리즈_합, 오브제 등, White & Beige
현대작가 박선민은 유리를 주재료로 활동하는 유리 공예 작가로, 국민대학교 디자인대학원 유리조형디자인과를 졸업했다. 2014년부터 폐유리병을 새로운 형태로 재탄생시키는 리:보틀(Re:Bottle) 프로젝트를 이어오며 대표 작가로 자리잡았다. 전체 작업의 70~80%를 폐유리 용기로 작업하며, 환경과 공예를 자연스럽게 연결하는 지속가능한 창작을 지향한다. 금속, 나무 등 다양한 재료에도 전문성을 갖춰 유리와의 접목을 시도하며 작업 영역을 넓히고 있다. 리움스토어에 입점된 작가로, “버려진 것이 일상 곁에 더 오래 머물도록” 하는 철학을 작품에 담고 있다.

Contemporary artist Park Seon Min, who works primarily in glass, is a graduate of the Department of Glass Design at Kookmin University’s Graduate School of Design. Since 2014 she has continued her Re:Bottle project, giving new form to discarded glass bottles, and has established herself as a leading figure in the field. Some seventy to eighty percent of each piece is made from recycled glass containers, in pursuit of sustainable creation that naturally connects environment and craft. She has also developed expertise in materials such as metal and wood, expanding her practice by combining them with glass. Her work is carried at the Leeum Museum Store, and embodies her philosophy that discarded things should remain a little longer alongside our everyday lives.
