김준수 [가죽공예]
국민대학교 일반대학원 금속공예학을 공부한 김준수는 자연의 본성을 쫓아 풍경의 지문을 새기는 공예작가다. 작품을 만드는 행위 중 재료와 깊게 대면하는 것이 그의 작품의 특징인데, 특히 자연에서 나타나는 축적된 선과 무수한 확장성을 표현한다. 또한 반복된 형태를 보여주고 나열함으로써 리듬감을 만든다. ‘Sense of Forest’ 연작들은 단순히 자연의 선을 그대로 옮기는 것이 아니라, 흐르면서 쌓인 시간의 결과 겹을 보여주며 그 일상에서 자연으로부터 느낀 감정을 불러 일으킨다.
