조문기[회화]
현대작가 조문기는 관계에서 발생하는 부조리한 상황과 그 안에 잔존하게 된 무기력한 인물을 소재로한 회화에 주력하고 있다. <아가의 언덕>(아터테인.2023), <와해의 기원>(레스빠스 7.2014), 외 다수의 개인전과 <ESSENCE>(갤러리 조은. 2020). <현대회화의 모험: 나는 나대로 혼자서 간다>(국립현대미술관 청주관. 2019-2020) 등의 그룹 전에 참여했다. 최근에는 움직임을 통해 소리가 발생하는 매커니즘과 퍼포먼스로 작품의 외연을 확장하며 (장면합성기>(신촌극장, 코스모41 2020), <식사>(두산아트센터. 2020) 등의 공연예술 프로젝트에 참여하고 있다.

Cho Moon-ki [Painting]
Contemporary artist Cho Moon-ki focuses on paintings that depict absurd situations arising from relationships and the helpless individuals caught within them. He has held numerous solo exhibitions, including “The Hill of Aga” (Artertain, 2023) and “Origins of Disintegration” (L’Espace 7, 2014), as well as participated in group exhibitions such as “ESSENCE” (Gallery Joeun, 2020) and “The Adventure of Contemporary Painting: I Go My Own Way” (National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Cheongju, 2019-2020). Recently, he has been expanding his work to include performance art that explores the mechanisms of sound generated by movement. This includes participating in performance art projects such as “Scene Synthesizer” (Sinchon Theater, Cosmo 41, 2020) and “Meal” (Doosan Art Center, 2020).
