작가 김형학은 곧 사라질 자연물이 가진 비율, 형태, 색상 등을 소재로 공간 안에 하나의 장면으로 수렴시킬 방법을 모색한다. 지금의 것들에서 시간이 쌓인 전통적 가치를 발견하며 이를 있는 그대로의 자연으로 보여주고 있다. 한국에서 가장 오래된 꽃집인 ‘꽃나래’의 2대 대표를 이어오며 비욘드앤 BEYOND N 브랜드를 이끄는 한국을 대표하는 플로리스트이다. 2023년 세계적 권위의 인터플로라 월드컵에 국가대표로 출전하여 파이널리스트 5인에 선정되었으며 현재 한국꽃꽂이를 대표하며 세계 무대에서 작품 활동을 하고 있다.

Contemporary artist Leo Kim is dedicated to capturing and integrating the proportions, shapes, and colors of natural elements that are on the verge of disappearing, transforming them into cohesive scenes within a space. He aims to reveal the traditional values embedded in the present, presenting them as pure, unaltered nature. As the second-generation head of “Kkotnarae,” Korea’s oldest flower shop, and the creative force behind the brand Beyond N, Leo Kim is recognized as one of Korea’s leading florists. In 2023, he represented Korea in the prestigious Interflora World Cup, where he was named one of the top five finalists. Leo continues to showcase Korean floral art on the global stage.
